Numerous takes of knocking on a door from inside a house, from light tapping to heavy thuds. This version is recorded from about 10 meters or 25 feet.

I think, this sound is good for spawning metallic or sharp objects in games. Maybe, falling of metallic barrel or some strange space rocks will be apropriate. Opening of spaceship doors seems good too.

There's a staircase where my college radio station is and this door slam gets me every time - metallic slam with big, booming reverb. I posted another version that is just the last booming part of the slam, it's called "door slam 1".
